After her best friend Sloane's mysterious and sudden disappearance, Emily receives a list from her, which includes things like skinny-dipping, kiss a stranger, hug a Jamie, etc. While trying to complete the list, she makes some unexpected new friends, starts getting out of her comfort zone. What's more is that an even more unexpected romantic relationship seems to blossom unconsciously.

THIS BOOK IS PERFECTION! First, I really love all the characters, especially the protagonist, Emily, who is so easy to relate to because I'm as shy as her. But even though you're not shy, I bet you'll still like her because she truly represents what friendship is. Miss Matson also uses this character to bring out the idea that, everyone had once been shy, because no one is born to be brave, but that's alright, because our mission is to get out of our comfort zone, face the unpredictable, and finally transform into a braver person.

Similar to the above reason, that's why I love this story. You feel hope after reading it. Throughout the 449 pages, Emily doesn't take this journey alone, but rather it's like you're having this life-changing journey with her! And when she grows, you grow too!

Maybe this book isn't perfect, because I demand more after the last page! The romance part is slowly budding throughout the entire book, I've been waiting for the two main characters getting together, so I'm a little disappointed when Miss Matson only uses such a few pages to describe it! Seriously, it would be great if there was an epilogue!

But all in all, I really did enjoy this book! It's definitely a perfect summer read, and it's one of my all time favorites! I even ordered a paperback so I can bring it with me everyday ha! #dontjudge
